Do you take refrigerators and freezers with refrigerant?
Yes. Under EPA rules, refrigerant must be safely recovered before a fridge, freezer, or AC unit is disposed of, and the final disposer has to document it. We route these units to recyclers who recover the refrigerant properly, so it is handled to code, not dumped.
Do I need to disconnect the appliance first?
No. We handle the disconnect for standard hookups, including water lines on washers and dishwashers. If a unit is hardwired or on a gas line, let us know so we can plan for it.
How much does appliance removal cost?
It is a flat fee per unit, confirmed up front. Grabbing several appliances in one trip lowers the price per item, so it pays to clear them all at once.
Do you recycle old appliances?
Whenever we can. Washers, dryers, and ranges are mostly metal and go to scrap recyclers. Working units are offered for donation first. The goal is to keep them out of the landfill.
